Overview
ParkIQ helps drivers, parking hosts, fleets, and operators manage parking search, reservations, check-in, checkout, account activity, security workflows, support requests, and related parking operations. To provide these services, ParkIQ may collect information that users provide directly, information created through use of the app, and limited technical information from devices and browsers.
Information We Collect
- Contact information: name, email address, phone number, business or physical address, and account contact details.
- Account and identifiers: user ID, account type, login details, assigned roles, and device identifiers where needed for app functionality, diagnostics, security, or notifications.
- Location: precise or approximate location when enabled to show nearby parking, support reservation workflows, or support location-based app functionality.
- Parking and reservation activity: searches, listings viewed, reservations, check-in/check-out activity, purchase history, credits, billing status, and account history.
- User content: messages, support requests, uploaded photos or videos, incident notes, and operational information submitted through the app.
- Diagnostics and usage: crash data, performance data, product interaction, and app usage information used to maintain and improve the service.
Payment Information
Payment processing may be handled by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. ParkIQ may store payment-related status, transaction references, receipts, credits, purchase history, and billing records, but does not intend to store full payment card numbers on ParkIQ servers.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate ParkIQ, create and manage accounts, show parking options, process reservations, support check-in and checkout, manage credits and billing status, send reservation and account updates, provide customer support, maintain trust and safety, troubleshoot issues, improve reliability, and comply with legal or operational requirements.
Communications
ParkIQ may send operational emails, app notifications, SMS messages, or other communications related to account access, reservations, check-in, checkout, reservation status, billing, credits, support, safety, and important service updates.
Sharing of Information
We may share information with service providers that help us operate ParkIQ, including hosting providers, email delivery providers, analytics or diagnostics tools, payment processors, and other operational vendors. We may also share information between relevant ParkIQ user roles, such as drivers, parking hosts, fleet users, security users, or operations users, when needed to support parking workflows.
We do not sell personal information to advertisers, and ParkIQ does not use personal information for third-party advertising tracking.
Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain account and reservation history, comply with legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, improve safety, and support business operations. Retention periods may vary based on the type of information and operational requirements.
User Choices
Users may update certain account information through the app or by contacting support. Users may manage device permissions, including location access, through their device settings. Users may contact ParkIQ to request help with account access, support questions, or privacy-related requests.
Security
ParkIQ uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
ParkIQ is not intended for children under 13 and is not designed as a children’s app.
